Rev. Dr. (Mrs.) Helen Atekha-Odemwingie



Rev. Dr. (Mrs.) Helen Atekha-Odemwingie JP was born in the 50's into the royal dynasty of ISO, of the great Benin Kingdom, the first daughter of Hon. D.O Atekha, who was an astute politician and parliamentarian of the first (1st) Republic.

Rev. Dr. (Mrs.) Atekha-Odemwingie JP, is an educationist, entrepreneur and a preacher of the Gospel. she is very humble and a total reflection of the proverb 31 woman. Rev. Atekha-Odemwingie is a Ph. D holder in human resources Development from the Bethel University College of Biblical Studies, Maryland, U.S.A (2010). She was conferred a Justice of the Peace (JP) by the Edo State government in 2015.

She holds a Bachelor's Degree in French Education, and a Master's Degree in Counselling from the University of Benin.

Through her learning institution, Oghosa Educational centre, she installs values in our future leaders and also embarks on human capital development. A lot of well behaved and responsible young hearts today in Edo State are products of Oghosa Educational Centre. Currently, a lot of students are on scholarship under her sponsorship.

Rev. Dr. (Mrs.) Atekha-Odemwingie, has held so many crucial positions in her career which has contributed to the growth and development of our nation, among them;

Pharm. Aina Omo – Ojeonu (Mrs) is a Co-opted Ex-Officio member of the NACCIMA Executive Committee and the National Public Relations Officer of the NACCIMA Business Women Group (NAWORG). She is the President & CEO of Eboreime Ventures Limited (EVL) and Founder & CEO of Global Foundation for The Medical Aid of Deprived People (GFMedAID) and Director (Managing) of Ohize Medical Centre (OMC) all based in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. She is a seasoned and accomplished entrepreneur with many years of experience in the Nigerian business environment and an advocate on issues that affect women and our teeming unemployed youths.

She has worked in both the public and private sectors. She was Production Manager in Unik – Varcity Pharmaceutical Industry and Acting General Manager of Edo Pharmaceuticals both in Benin City, Edo State, before going into Community Pharmacy practice and later set up her organizations. Because of her passion to help the deprived people in our society, she provides free and comprehensive health care to the less privileged members of society in all the nooks and crannies of Edo State. She is also involved in rehabilitating our women and youth by offering vocational training and empowering them. She serves as 1st Deputy President of the Benin Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (BENCCIMA).

Engr. Charles Akhigbe has worked for over 25 years in the oil and gas sector and currently managing director of Atlantique Marine and Engineering Services, a company involved providing logistics and warehousing services to the oil and gas, the real sector manufacturing, steel pipe mill, and coating manufacturing, He has attended several industry training in Nigeria and overseas to become a diversified professional Engineer, chartered arbitrator, logistics, and supply chain expert and many more. He obtained the following certificates:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering, M.Sc Industrial and Production Engineering, M.Sc in Project management, Executive M.B.A Strategic Management, Executive MBA in oil and gas management, Executive MBA in Human Resources and Employee Relations, Lagos Business School – Logistics and Supply chain management, Lagos Business School - Agricultural management program (AgMp 10) and finally obtained a doctorate degree in Business Administration.

 MS Taiye Agbontaen N. Agbontaen, hail from Oredo local government area of Edo state. She Obtained her primary, secondary, and higher education. 

She worked with the Federal office of Statistics and later joined the Nigeria Army where she served for over 19 (nineteen) years. At retirement, she returned back to the classroom and Obtained the Bachelor of Science (B.SC) degree in physical health at the University of Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. She also holds the N.C.E in Edo language.
She is a businesswoman and entrepreneur. Currently, she is the Managing Director / Chief Executive officer of Tandy foods; President, Talented women Entrepreneur Farmers Association (TWEFA), Director, Nigeria Association of Women Entrepreneur ( NAWE), Edo state chapter; Treasurer, Benin Chambers of commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture ( BENCCIMA); President, Ladies Auxiliary, Diocese of Benin, Anglican Communion. She is married and blessed with 3( three) children.
