The Benin Chamber of Commerce was incorporated on 20th October 1965, in Nigeria as a non-profit making organization, limited by guarantee (without a share capital) with company registration number RC 4602/T.

The Benin Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (BENCIMMA), in collaboration with Simplified Systems Limited, Bank of Industry (BOI), and the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), invites all entrepreneurs, business owners, and financial managers to a Training and Sensitization Programme.

The Annual General Meeting or General Assembly is the highest organ of the Chamber. It holds at the end of every financial year of the Chamber and sometimes extend to about three months constitutional grace period.
